Billboard Hot 100 1st place BTS’s new song ‘DYNAMITE’ in 5 areas reviews (Part 1)

BTS’s new song ‘DYNAMITE’

Korean boy band BTS released their first English single, “Dynamite,” to convey positive hope and happiness in this difficult time.
This song was the first Korean singer to take the first place in the US Billboard main single chart HOT 100. Hot 100 is a chart that ranks the most popular songs in the United States every week through the sum of streaming performance, sales volume, and number of radio broadcasts.
In addition, They recently presented the first stage of the ‘Dynamite’ with the honor of 4 crowns at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.

‘Dynamite’, which has a retro disco sound and the entire lyrics in English, has been evaluated as being more popular when compared to previous songs released by BTS.
For me, as a Korean, even if the song’s whole lyrics are in English, still the colors of BTS are contained, so the song makes me happy and feel good.

In the past, Mr. Bang Si-hyuk (the CEO of the Big-Hit entertainment) said that their pursuit is a comprehensive gift set (music, visual, performance, fashion, etc.) in entertainment.

Whenever BTS releases a new song, people review it from a variety of perspectives, beyond simply enjoying the video. For example, reviews about music, fashion they wear, their new choreography, their changed vocal/rap style, or various interpretations of music videos, etc.
The public seems to find happiness in sharing these various reviews.

Whenever BTS releases a new song, fans feel a variety of fun and happiness, as if unpacking a comprehensive gift set.
Let’s have a look at Reviews in various fields.

BTS ‘Dynamite' music Review
1. BTS ‘Dynamite' music Review

BTS’ DYNAMATE is a retro style music based on funky disco music.

Disco was a black music that was influenced by funk and soul, and it was developed and gradually white people began to make and sing disco music.

The movie Saturday Night Fever, starring John Travolta, hit a huge hit in 1970, which made the disco popular all over the world. At this time, it is said that electrodance music (EDM) was born by taking disco music from Europe and adding electronic sounds such as synthesizers.

Disco music is largely divided into classic retro disco music and euro-style retro disco music with electronic sound.

Among them, DYNAMATE belongs to the classic retro disco style music derived from black punk music.
This is a song created with the wish to give hope and strength to all those suffering from pandemic coronavirus through traditional disco music, just as disco was a ray of light to black people living struggling to survive in the old time

BTS tried various challenges through ‘Dynamite’. Since his debut, they wrote English lyrics for the first time, and reinforced its popularity with a pop-style song, drastically removing elements that acted as a handicap in the American music market.

The lyrics and composition were also left to British musicians David Stewart and Jessicar Agombar, who worked on songs such as the American boy band Jonas Brothers, rather than the existing producers or members of Big Hit Entertainment.

There are also reviews of music made by Korean composer.

2. BTS ‘Dynamite' reviews on Vocals
BTS ‘Dynamite' reviews on Vocals

BTS originally consisted of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists.
Most of the previously released songs were moderately mixed with song and rap.
But this time, all 7 members sang without a rap part. And the lyrics are all in English.
Dynamite tends to repeat the same melody relatively, but it overcomes the monotony with BTS’ vocals and arrangements.

As always, vocals are stable even in violent movements, and the high range is neatly processed. What’s even more surprising is that the delivery of lyrics in English is not that bad either.

It is not easy for them, whose native language is not English, to sing naturally with lyrics in English. There is only one member at BTS who speaks English well. In this situation, I can feel their fierce efforts to convey the lyrics in English naturally.

I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and engaging,
and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the
head. The problem is something which too few people are speaking intelligently about.
I am very happy I came across this during my search for something relating to this.
